Sigma Beta Club
Sigma Beta Club is the youth affiliate organization of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. The goal is to provide young men with opportunities for personal and professional development. Our members are encouraged to take an active role in their own growth and development, and we offer a range of programs and resources to support them. Our club is a safe space where young men can come together to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in their communities.
About
Sigma Beta Club
In the early 1950s, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity became the first Greek organization to establish a youth auxiliary group. Under the direction of Bro. Dr. Parlett L. Moore, while serving as National Education Director, the Sigma Beta Club was founded. Brother Moore was concerned with changing needs in our communities and recognized the important role that Sigma men could play in the lives of our youth
On April 23, 1954, the first Sigma Beta Club was organized in Montgomery, AL. Throughout its existence, Sigma Beta Clubs have been an essential part of the total organizational structure of many of the Alumni chapters of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and offers men of Sigma a unique opportunity to develop wholesome value, leadership skills, and social and cultural awareness of youth at a most critical stage in the youth’s personal development.
In addition to the national programs of Sigma Beta Club, it also focuses on Culture, Athletics, Social and Educational needs. Sigma Beta Club programs are geared to meet the needs of its members, but at the same time provide them with a well-rounded outlook that is needed to cope with today’s society. Phi Beta Sigma is confident that investing in our youth today will produce effective leaders of tomorrow.
Sigma Beta Clubs also provide services to youths in their communities. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. interest in fostering the development of youth into effective leaders has been realized in the establishment of strong and productive Sigma Beta Clubs all across the country.

At Social Action, we believe that commitment to one's community is crucial. As a Youth Affiliate, we aim to instill into our scholars the importance of taking responsibility for their communities and the world around them. Through empowerment and support, we strive to inspire the next generation of leaders who can make a positive impact in their society.
Bigger & Better Business
Our Bigger & Better Business initiative is dedicated to the economic empowerment of our youth. We believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness, and we're committed to helping them unlock their full potential. By providing them with financial education, we're preparing them for a brighter future filled with endless opportunities for success.
Childhood Obesity, Health, & Wellness
Our Childhood Obesity, Health, & Wellness program is designed to educate and support our scholars in developing healthy habits and choices. With a plethora of processed goods on our shelves, it can be difficult to know what's good and what's not. That’s why we are here to help. Our program provides one-on-one support to help our scholars make the right choices and promote healthy living.
